Just put the engine back in and it will not allow reverse. Is the small cable broken or something else? Still no glow plugs either - what a waste of time.
It must have been the cable as when I pulled out the gearbox end of the cable, it was working. I must have stretched it when i pulled the engine.
To change the cable - how does the knob come off? Or is it one unit?

Happy to say that the nipple at the top had pulled out. Easy to fix.
