Hello all,
Anyone friend suggested someone here may be able to help me.
I have a boxer van (2006) that recently broke the wiper linkage arm on the drivers side.
I replaced the linkage arm thinking job sorted.
Unfortunately the wipers won't work properly, no matter what possition I put the arms on when the motor runs it want to push the wipers down the screen instead of up the screen meaning that they clatter in the bodywork. The only way I can use the wipers is to bolt the drivers side blade in the upright possition so that when I activate the wipers they move down first and then back up.
They then park in the up possition.
Anyone know what's going on?
I've tried fitting the arms over and over again but the motor always wants to push the arm down first.
I hope this makes sence, any help would be much appreciated as it's mot time soon!!
Thanks

Re: peugeot boxer van windscreen wiper out of sync
Assuming that it is an arrangement with a crank arm bolted to a single motor, it sounds like the crank needs to be removed and fitted in another position.
With the crank removed, electrically park the system, then reattach the crank with the arms in the desired parking position.

Presumably the crank wasn't removed from the motor, so it should be possible to fix it by rotating the mechanism back to the correct orientation. At a guess it's gone over-centre somewhere and is now on the wrong side somehow.
