ML6C gearbox oil amount

Hello all

I’m currnetpy in the process of changing my C5 2.2 wishbone bushes, and I’ve dripped some gearbox oil out of the driveshaft seal. As you do, doh. Unfortunately the oil that came out was absolutely disgusting and I’ve always planned to change the oil and now seems like the idea time.
It’s a 6 speed manual and the Haynes says it needs 2.6 litres of oil if it has cooling fins, and 1.9 litres if it doesn’t.

Would we all agree that mine appears to have cooling fins based on this photo? (See attachment)



Does this tally up with what others have found?

For anyone wondering what the right answer was here, I nipped into my friendly Citroen garage today and asked at the parts desk. The chap there is always very helpful with me.

Anyway, my C5 needs 1.9 litres of gearbox oil, no more, no less. And that's with the 'cooling fins', so thanks Mr Haynes!!
