I wouldn’t add by quantity, just add a little until it is between min and max levels. Check level on flat ground and when engine has been off for at least 15 minutes.

When's the next service due? If it's fairly soon then, providing it doesn't drop below min, I would leave it alone.

As an afterthought, how many miles since the last oil change? Has it always been near the min mark?

As others have said, check by dipstick to make sure you get the level right. As a guide, it will be somewhere between 500ml - 1litre though.

Be aware too that the computer engine oil level indicator that comes on for a few seconds (when switching on the ignition), will only be accurate after a period of 30 minutes after topping up!
