206 - disable "no seatbelt" beeping?
Hey guys. I don't mind most of the sounds my car makes (like beeping when I want to leave her with low beam on.) There's just one thing that's annoying me. It's the "no seatbelt" beep. You see, there's a non-public road to my home, around half a kilometer, so I unbuckle when I get on that road. After 400 meters, the beeping gets so loud, it's ear-piercing. So, my question is: is it possible to disable JUST this notification? I'd like to leave the low beam beeping intact.

Can I ask why you feel compelled to unbuckle ? Just because it's not a "public" road doesn't mean you can't have an accident and be grateful for having a seatbelt prevent you going through the window ?
Wearing a seatbelt isn't just about complying with the law, it's about safety.

And can affect insurance claims in the event of an accident.
I must hold my hands up to being the worlds worst seatbelt wearer though.
My C5 gives a very discrete "beep" and a message on the centre screen, very brief, then goes away.
I rarely use the belt

Yes, you can, but you need to use Peugeot Planet diagnostic software or Diagbox to do it. I did it on my C4 VTS, because it annoyed the hell out of me!

Am I supposed to use it with the ODB2 protocol?

Yes but, as Michel says, you will need to use either Peugeot Planete or Diagbox software/hardware to effect the change. An ordinary EOBD reader will almost certainly not be specialised enough for this.
