Hello to all french car drivers

A forum for new members to introduce themselves to the rabble already onboard. Not compulsory!
Tell us a little about yourself, lie if you have to but keep it to just an introduction, not a car discussion.

Hello to all french car drivers

Unread post by Mike60 »

Good evening
I am fan of French car producers.
What I have now :
- Citroen C3 Picasso Exclusive, 2014 - Novenber, Engine ?, 1560cm, 68kW, 90CP, Red, right hand drive, 19.100 miles.

- Renault Scenic 2, 2007 - June, Engine K9K-F7, 1461cm, 74kW, 101CP, Blue Iceberg, left hand drive, 65.000 miles.

I am very happy with both. I change from one to another without problem. I drove cars from 1978.
Yes I am a little older ( years ) but I don't fell it :-).
I like and I want to learn more about this Citroen. In particular - electrical.

Have a nice evening
Mike

Thank you, thank you, thank you :-)
At first I have two Renault 12 Dacia ( 1986 - 1992 ).
Many years ago ( 1992 - 1997 ) I drove another French car. R Five D ! It was beautiful. Small, big engine. ( I don't have picture with my original car ).
After R5 was a couple of VW cars + Matiz / Daewoo + Punto Sporting. I have pictures with all.
And now last two ( F ) :-) with pictures

The little R5's are shooting up a lot in price, a rare sight to see one on the road now, bet you wish you had kept it, not so easy to find now!

Again, me :-)
I bought C1 in January. Very nice car. For job. Every day 42 miles. On my way are and my wife work so it is perfect.
Why I bought Citroen C1 and not Peugeot 108 or Toyota Aygo ? Only for headlights :-) Because I can manage with changing bulbs. There are for lights with H7 bulbs.
So I begun to change :
Low beam XHP-70, 5000K, No cooler !
High beam Cree, 6000K, cooler.

All bulbs was changed in to LED.
I found on Amazon powerful Amber bulbs. Not need to install resistors :-).
It was tricky to change third brake light ( small space to fit my fingers ) but done.
Happy.

Hi Mike - welcome to the Forum.

A word of advice:

Please post any specific queries in a separate thread under the Citroen Forum (in the case of your C1) and title the thread relevant to the Query. The thread here is an introductory thread and shouldn't contain technical queries or questions as it may not be read by members. Please also ensure you don't include separate issues in the same threads as this becomes confusing for contributors.
Please Don't PM Me For Technical Help

Thank you and sorry :-(
I will try my best but where and if I can post more pictures with what I do to my car ?
To open new topic ? to look on C1 forum for identical changes ?
I make a search but I don't find nothing yet.
If I made today a donation :-) where it is possible to ask for more information about my car ?
Regards
Mike
