Can you polish scratches out of plastic panels?

My Grand Picasso has a few light scratches on it, as you'd expect with a 9 year old vehicle. If it were metal, I'd not hesitate on polishing them out with Farcela or T-cut, but they're on the front left and rear right wings, which are plastic.

Can I do the same sort of thing on plastic? Do I need a special compound or material to do it ? I sorted the ones on the top flat part of the rear bumper - scratches from putting things in and out the tailgate buy simply putting a bumper protector over it
