Re: Citroen selling stuff off.............
The National Railway Museum have recently 'de-acquisitioned' some locomotives recently - to much anger and disgust... The railway preservation press have printed many miles of comment on it...
All have ended up in other worthy places though... Mainly well-regarded preserved railways...
I'm surprised the Conserva-whatsit are getting rid of stuff but I guess they need to make room for new stuff...
One hopes the vehicles they are selling off will end up in other appropriate museums...
I did not (can't, unfortunately) watch the video but what's the general opinion/feeling on this?

So are these "new" cars, or "new-ish" cars? Were they ever released for sale?

Re: Citroen selling stuff off.............
Interesting around 2:00 you see someone at the back of an Activa changing the fuel pump. And the around 19:00 there are two mechanics fiddling around the engine bay on the same Activa. I almost died laughing!
New Activa and already needs repairing...
If the video lasted longer I believe there would be even more mechanics around the Activa wondering: "What f***** up system is in this car! Must be a prototype..."

Re: Citroen selling stuff off.............
We all know that Citroens don't like sitting around unused, so it must be a bit of an issue there.
Not to memtion a backlog of service updates and mandatory mods!
What to call them?
"New Old Stock" (Packaging may have been removed).

Re: Citroen selling stuff off.............
Agree with that. They are now probably doing "Leaky activa ram repair". The bushes are probably OK.

Re: Citroen selling stuff off.............
When I visited the Conservatoire last year, there were 2 Activa V6s on display, I think that was one of them. So at least it moved from the display area back to the warehouse.
The old factory there is about to redeveloped, so maybe they are losing storage space. But i don't see them selling off spare Peugeots.

Video wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't in French - I mean, no consideration these Frogs
Agree that the Gunmetal BX looks very nice, so does the red and white Rallye BX. Pick for me would be the Traction
If he hadn't spent so much time back and forth fannying around he might have been able to actually reveal some of the cars that they do have - which is surely the point of the video.
