Hi Guy's
I had a chance to look at my front tyres today while the steering was on full lock and noticed that my nearside front tyre was wearing quite bad on the inside of the tread. I had a look at the offside tyre and it was equal tread all the way across. The car is steel sprung and is a 2011 c5 e-hdi egs. Any body had this on their cars.

Possibly the bottom ball joint - that's the side that will hit all the kerbside drains - and let's face it some of these can be like going over potholes! (at least where I live). I would get that checked first, before spending out on tracking - as you'll likely only have to get it done again after. Most places like ATS will do a re-check of the tracking and free adjustment after so many miles - which you will need it if you have had the joint replaced to give it time to settle in.
I often have to drive nearer the white line to avoid them where we are - as they are ridiculously deep.

I would reckon at a suspension component of some sort on that side (balljoint/wishbone bush). Unlikely to be tracking as that would usually affect both sides equally.
Always worth checking and double checking that the coil spring has not snapped (a rung or two from top or bottom can be easily overlooked) as that would put the geometry out.

In respect to tracking, go to a place that does, 4 wheel tracking, just had mine done and the back was out aswell, only a bit, but enough to wear the inside of the rear tyres. Don't think this is related to you problem, but if the back is out it's not going to help.

Well got car back from garage today, they could find nothing wrong with the spring, bushes, tracking and arms so just fitted a new tyre and told me to keep a eye on it . So we shall see.
