Citroen C3 HDi Engine Management light

Mother In laws car has been back to me this week with the EML on and limp mode. It has been like it on and off for a while and was permanently on.

Faults according to my Lexia

The 3 faults are
Permanent Fault - Accelerator pedal 1 signal coherence with the 2 accelerator pedal signal P2137
Permanent Fault - Accelerator pedal 1 signal short circuit to + or open circuit P0223
Permanent Fault - Accelerator pedal 2 signal short circuit to + or open circuit P0228

I deleted the faults and the light went out, but according to Lexia the faults remain. Mother in Law happy as the light is off and its no longer in limp home mode but I did warn her the light was likely to come back at some point (as it has done before). What is likely to be at fault here? About 2 years ago it had a complete accelerator pedal assembly and it did improve things but I would be surprised if that was at fault again?

It would appear something to do with the fly by wire throttle set up but any advice gratefully received.

Right, off to fix my Dad's Xantia which burst a hydraulic pipe travelling back to Gloucester from Glasgow. It got him home but needs sorting, I may well post a separate topic on that later! I'll get a chance to do my actual day job soon hopefully

Update, Light still off so car behaving as it should. Faults remain on the Lexia though. I have googled all sorts but still found nothing. So any ideas gratefully received!

it sounds like the pedal is faulty.
