Citroen C5 2008 2.0 HDI Exclusiv - but is it Mk 2 or X7 !!!!

Gents, I have now bought an immaculate C5 but know little about it. I have been reading forums and don't know how to tell which Mk or exact model it is. Please help. Thanks in advance. I will post again because it has a few electrical issues I believe.

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

The first thing you need to do is post up your VIN, then I can provide you with the exact spec as it left the factory. Your VIN can be found on the outside of the windscreen, at the bottom of the passenger side - there is a little window that shows the code - it is an alphanumeric sequence of 17.

If you post up your VIN, I can send you it's build sheet to let you know what's fitted and tell you what it is ! :)

Alasdair - the first 2 pic s are almost indistinguishable - better to of shown the front of the car maybe.

Not the rear bumper design they arn't...........lower black valance, rubbing strips wrap around etc....

'04 C5 auto estate 2.2 hdi. Gone.
Bx 1.6 TGS Auto 50k A rare beast by all accounts. A bit tired but getting better by the day. Gone.
'96 XM 2.5TD VSX.......Sadly sold. What an idiot! I should have held on to that.

Gents I believe it may be a Mk 2 looking at the pics thanks, but as it is my first C5 I am unfamiliar with Citroen

two TOP tips for a new owner..........


ALWAYS remove the LDS cap when you have the car lifted off its wheels.................
Get a garage 9(or DIY) to apply loads of waterproof thick grease to the steering rack Pinion valve stem/shaft)
