My 2006 C8 recently lost all acceleration Engine Management light was intermittent but is now on all time, will eventually reach 50 MPH but mainly using lower gears.
Connecting Lexia I get P0401 Code with following message.
Temporary Fault
Fault: air circuit, Amount of air measured higher that the setting
Any Ideas where to look or what further investigation I could do?
C8 2.2HDi, P0401 code

Re: C8 2.2HDi, P0401 code
Hi and welcome to the Forum.
Be careful with this one - code could indicate that there are insufficient gases from the EGR getting back into the engine - but I would first of all try and get the Mass Air Flow sensor cleaned - or replaced. There have been cases where cleaning these has not made a difference - however replacing it for a new one has. This might be the easiest and quickest solution before taking off and cleaning the EGR valve.

I would look at the MAF first , not massively expensive

Re: C8 2.2HDi, P0401 code
MAFF arrived yesterday and replaced. at the same time I was carrying out a service, while opening the Fuel filter I noticed it was not even half full of diesel. On completion of the service, I carried road test and all was restored to a condition I have not seen since a Citroen garage replaced the clutch.
Thank again
