Weren't the injection circuit wiring diagrams I sent you any good Henk? There generally isn't anything officially available aside from those unfortunately, but the codes on the wires should identify the connection which you can tie back to the ECUs. If there are other diagrams you need, just shout.

Hi MARC there are very few wires with any codes or numbers on them and the diagrams allso do not identify any of the plug colours going into the ecus

Hi Henk, the wiring plugs are shown on the diagrams e.g.: on the Electronic Ignition PRINCIPLE diagram I sent you, look at item '1320' - the Engine ECU in the middle. You will see on the inside, marklings such as 32V MR. This means 32 Pin, Brown plug.
It's all in French V means Pin, and the coilour codes are:
NR = Black
RG = Red
YN = Yellow
BA = White
Brown = MR
Green = VE
Blue = BE
Orange - OR
Grey = GR
Multi-coloured = MC
characters of the wire codes have the following meaning first character:
B : + battery (BM01A)
M : earth (MC25F)
C : + APC (CM04E)
The second character:
M : earth (MM01)
E : electric (linked to an ECU) (ME04)
C : bodywork, body (MC50N)
The codes for the components are in the Wiki:

Hi Marc how far must i open the harnesses to find markings on the wires? They are open about 2inches and very few have markings on them. Sorry to be a pest but this is completely upside down from the Yank systems im used to.

Welcome to the womderful world of French Cars Henk!
Not too far - this link shows a SAXO - considerably older and you can just about see the writing on the cables a few inches in, but it is usually repeated along the length of the cable, unless spliced of course.
