Engine management light...loss of power

Hi today Engine management light came on with 3 beeps and a loss of power. i pulled over switched off ignition then back on and still no power,switched off again left for 1 min tried again had full power and no more problems,but eml is still on... i had the egr valve replaced 3 years ago also had throttle egr by-passed 2 tears ago all to do with loss of power could it be these again...Thanks any help would be appreciated

The EML may well stay lit until five runs are completed with no further faults.
