HELP, my bonnet wont open! ZX

help!!! my bonnet has decided not to open! the catch sounds like it releases but the bonnet doesnt budge! need advice quick! lol!

Only thing I can think of get the front on ramps, and then reach up behind the radiator and try and operate the mechanism. Might need to find another car to practice on where you can see what you're doing (bonnet open)!

How about the old traditional thump on the bonnet just above the Chevrons!! Could well unstick the catch!
Careful not to dent the bonnet.

hi,
phew! i did exactly what you said richard, worked a treat, the catch has stuck(little bugger), all seems to be ok now, oiled it and gave a quick go over with a wire brush,
happy days again!
