Xantia rear door panel.

On my Xantia Activa the rear drivers door panel that has the electric window button on sticks out.

When i looked closer i could see a screw showing where it should stick in.

I then tried removing the screw pushing the panel back in to place then then putting the screw back in but it still comes out, so i'm guessing something the screw hooks into has snapped?

Are these panels the same on all Xantia's (bar LX that don't have rear electric windows) , and any idea where i can source a replacement?

Yes, there is.. They often break because those unskilled and unknowing assume it's just clipped on and try to get it off with increasing force until something gives... The same happens with steering column cowls

Yes, and any Xantia with electric rears being broken can provide... S1 and S2 may be slightly different, I'm not sure...

If you get really, really stuck I may have one. Remind me in due course and next time I'm in my deep spares cache I'll take a look...

You should have the door panels (off side) for both front and rear doors. IIRC they were amongst the bits I passed on to you. They would be for an S2 Xantia.

I think you have me confused with somebody else. I bought Sl4yer's Activa and that only came with some LHM and a replacement drivers window system.

I should have said CitroJim. When I got my C5 I passed on a few Xantia spare parts to him.

I've bought a few parts from the seller, Simon, he's an all round nice bloke. Last time I saw the car, the rear door trims were complete and in good order, so he'll likely have a replacement.
I have fixed this exact issue on one of my cars, using a piece of nylon rod pressed and glued in, but a replacement is easier.
