I am on holiday and parked my car on a steep slope overnight, when I went to start it this morning the diesel had syphoned back to the tank and I had to crank the engine for about 20 seconds before it fired, also an error message appeared telling me I had low engine oil. I hoped that leaving the car for a couple of hours in a car park would have cleared the fault, but no.
The oil level is correct as the level is at the top of the orange plastic part of the dipstick, by the downwards arrow, but the service light is still on.
Any ideas?
Cheers Stu
