Years ago I saw a van with the sign;

"Patel & Singh, Plumbers,
You have tried the Cowboys,
Now give the Indians a go!"

However, today I saw a notice on the back of a van that read;
"This vehicle is speed restricted to 62MPH"

which got me thinking of a sign that SHOULD be on some vehicles, considering how they are driven;

"This vehicle has its speed limited, inversely linked to the IQ of the driver!".

not so much a Notice per se but signs on the M18 / M1 today...

Biblical rain this PM coming from Hull to Cannock and nothing showing on the Info signs re speed limits then nearing M1 merge warning of delays on the A46 at Warwick!

'Smart' gantries showing this....note the speed

not 1 reduced speed limit sign all the way down to A50 jct....usually either am or pm with less traffic they're more than happy to display 60 even 6am in the morning!
i'm sure Derby / Notts use it as a pollution tool not for traffic flow

and even more bizarre when going Northbound on the M18 just as you pass jct 1 you see a sign saying x mins to A1M via the M18......this is at jct 2 so no other way possible!
