The Com 2000 was replaced today on the C5, I asked if I could have the old one to play with. Does anyone know the pinouts? Thanks.

Unfortunately there isn't a Comms 2000 diagram specifically on the wiring diagrams - it is only shown depending on the sub-component / system you are viewing and masks the others.
In your car, the airbag has a 2 pin Maroon connector.
Then there is a 6 pin Grey connector that has the Body 1 VAN Data Bus 1 connections, so probably controls several functions, including telematics / audio, lights, wash / wipe / central locking etc.
There are several more plugs, but nothing shown until you look for a particular system.
