Help identifying Clio part

Hi All,
I hope someone can help me. I recently did an engine change on my sons 1998 Clio 1.2 RN Grande (1.2, 8V, D7F 720 engine) and yes, you guessed it, we have a part left over (Doh!). Would really appreciate if anyone could identify it (see picture attached). I think (from memory) it goes at the front of the engine and supports the lower coolant hose running from the water pump but can't be too sure. The Haynes manual has no picture of it and I have searched the internet to no avail. If anyone can tell me where it fits or even better, provide a picture if they have a similar car that would be ideal.
