Fuel problem 1.6hdi

Hello banging my head against the wall here with my 2008 Citroen C4 1.6hdi 110bhp version. Having problems with it randomly cutting out while driving it also has been running rough on start up from cold. I had a loud beep followed by all the management lights on then it wouldn't restart left it for a minute then it fired up leaving me with a yellow engine management light and a Depollution system faulty on start up, left it over night and the lights and warning where gone. Used the AA diagnostic equipment as follows...Your Breakdown Report

Patrol found the following fault code/s:System : Engine control 1 - 1FB / Diesel EDC 16C34 CANP1199 - Fuel level signal. Error Message : Fluid level too low.P1351 - Glow relay. Error Message : Faulty.P1166 - Fuel delivery control. Error Message : Malfunction.suspect fuel sensor fault. Just want some advice before I pay for a new fuel sensor thanks
