Sticky plastic and dash.

Post by AlvinCitroenC5 »

The lower dash and center console with the grainy plastic on my recently purchased C5 has been sticky since I bought it. It seems that the surface layer if the plastic has melted by UV or caused by the previous owner using improper cleaning solvents. Does anyone know what products or methods to use to repair this issue? Thanks.

I would think that is a build up of silicon spray "Dash Shine"...... Use a good quality plastic cleaner, or check with a good Auto Cleaning company

Hi, Try this stuff, I use on on anywhere that is sticky or has something stuck to it, I originally bought it to remove tar spot from my paintwork.
