How?
After 1 1/2 hours i've just about got the old one out. Put a pull through on the old one as i pulled it out, have started pulling the new one back up but its stuck and i cant get access to it to feed it through.
Any hints or tips?
(PS i even got desperate and had a look in the ole haynes!)

You need to remove the plastic under the steering column and the pedal box, when you get the innet into the car through the hole try wiring it onto the pedal end with soft copper wire and feed the pedal box back into place, now you have to fit the outer cable into the pedal box end, make sure the cable comes up vertically where it meets bracket, I have resorted to lifting the engine for this bit, attach the outer and clip it into place, refit the rubber thing and try connecting it at the gearbox end, this is a devil of a job, a Cit mechanic once told me he took five hours!
