I wonder if someone Lexia savvy can advise?
I plan to install cruise control on my 2003 C5 in line with Wheeler's very useful guide, which requires some Lexiaing to make it work.
I have just bought this Lexia from eBay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/182593592037? ... EBIDX%3AIT
Does anyone know whether this likely to work with my C5?
Thanks

Re: Lexia question
Best reply I can give is - almost certainly. Although having bought it surely you're stuck with it and will have to give it a try just to justify buying it?

Re: Lexia question
Thanks Paul, that's useful. My only thinking in asking for advice was that, if someone advised that it had no chance of working, I could save a couple of hours of messing about and just sell on. I certainly will give it a try. On another note, I notice it is stickered as 'Actia'. Is it likely to be genuine Actia, or do the fakes have this sticker also?

Re: Lexia question
The clones (not fakes!) also have these labels. Everything is copied to a greater of lesser extent. It's most likely to be a clone TBH.

Re: Lexia question
The simple way to find out is to try it. On my C5 all I had to do (Lexia wise, after I had done everything else) was to select Driver Switch Module, locate Cruise Control, change it from "Absent" to "Present", and then (sorry, I cannot remember where it was, but possibly in the same menu) test the systems could see the switches were being pressed and turned (once you have fitted the CC Stalk).
You will (if you have not already done so) need to check the brake pedal mechanism (on the left side of the car) to make sure it has the disconnect switch function. There are two possible wiring options, and one of these has two choices.
Wiring Option 1. Four wires ending in a single white plug. The switch is a dual pole unit, with one side switching ON the brake lights and the other side switching OFF the cruise control when the brake pedal is pressed (My 04 C5 has this option).
Wiring Option 2. Two pairs of wires, one with a white connector (for the brake lights), one with a red connector (for the cruise control). This option has two possible switch options.
Switch 1. One white switch, with the white plug connected, and the red plug hanging loose. This will require purchasing the relevant red switch, to allow the brake pedal to disconnect the cruise control.
Switch 2. One white switch, with the white plug connected, and one red switch, with the red plug connected.

Re: Lexia question
I think that Actia are the original hardware makers so all 'Lexia' copies / clones are branded that way, even the Chinese clones that say Made in France, they just cloned it all. The Laptop has Diagbox loaded so should work with Citroen. You can test to a certain extent by plugging the USB interface cable & Diagbox / Actia hardware into the laptop then checking to see if you can select your vehicle. After that there's only one way to tell.
fwiw my Berlingo Cruise Control was enable with the kind help of a Peugeot owner who up to that point had only used it on his 406, so chances are good.
