nIs it possible to delete the service zones
nIt will not let me erase faults.GiveMeABreak wrote:Just ignore that - it's reached the limit of zones used to store logs of faults and won't store any more. You should still be able to erase any faults as normal.
I have read the faults, and it lets me clear them, but when I run a global test. They are still there. If I run Diagbox it says no faults.GiveMeABreak wrote:Have you 'Read' the faults first by going into the fault and then tried to erase them?
Have a look in this video (courtesy of EasyDiagnostics) at time index 7:52, keep your eye on the service log message at the bottom of the Diagbox display - you will see that this has 50 out of 50 stored, yet the codes can still be erased. Note engine must not be running - just ignition on, so make sure the vehicle is not going into economy mode before you have had time to clear them.
Note this was an earlier version of Diagbox (v6.22), but the principle should be the same as the service zones are stored on the BSI I believe and not in the individual ECU being tested.
I have 1 permanent fault. It's the fuel cap.GiveMeABreak wrote:Ok, so we know permanent faults won't erase if the fault is not rectified.
On the C5, there are known 'ghost' faults elating to the Suspension ECU (won't affect you on the Peugeot) and some others which Citroen know about - when the Global Test is run, it's the triggering of the ESP ECU that reports a fault, but there isn't any actual fault - we just ignore it as long as there are no other associated faults. Maybe it is one of these or similar on the Peugeot. I think the other one was glow plugs or similar - again not an issue.
The dpf was totally blocked. It just could'nt regenerate. I have fitted a new one. This is after 330.000 km. That is actually pretty good I've been told. Just filled the Eolys.GiveMeABreak wrote:What's the blockage level on the DPF? If it can't regenerate it will start blocking to the extent you want be able to regenerate it, anywhere between 70% and up.
I think models around your year used the opening of the fuel cap to determine when to dose the additive. Is your Eolys level ok?
Mine must be a later model then, cause it seems like the the only thing it does is show a message in the mfd that the fuel cap is'nt closed.GiveMeABreak wrote:Ok, every time the fuel cap is opened it notifies the additive ECU and that determines if and when the Eolys is injected. On later models a different system is used.
