I will be in New York on 9 June. The Rendezvous event is the weekend of 14 June. I expect to be in California around mid July, say 15 July.

Of course. Also, I just noticed that you're in Somerset. Dang! I was just in Somerset near Minehead last weekend... with my Xantia!

Ah well...

After Saratoga Springs, I will drive up to Ville de Québec through Maine, then Westward over Montréal, Toronto, Chicago, Rapid City, Vancouver, then Southward over Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego, until I'm going Eastward over Phoenix, Austin, New Orleans to Tampa, finally going North over Nashville and D.C. back to New York.

That's my 'tentative' route so far.

Would be truly epic if he/she (depending on what day of the week) actually joined the forum haha, I can imagine such a confirmed petrolhead (gearhead?) would have a soft spot for HPN Citroens, specially the Activa.

I know that Jay Leno owns an SM and a DS. Does he own other Citroëns?

I am very appreciative of your efforts, Stickyfingers. Not entirely sure how to repay you, besides raising the price tag of your Activa.

If you're in California whilst this is on it must be worth a visit, I'm planning to see it in October.

"The Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard, California now features a very special exhibition:
“Citroën: The Man, The Marque, The Mystique” provides a retrospective on the first 98 years of Citroën spirit and innovation.
The museum features an stunning amount of 46 cars — starting from the very first Citroën automobile ever built, the 1919 “Type A”, along all significant and iconic Citroën vehicles such as the 2CV, the Traction Avant (“Gangster Limousine”), of course a number of DS (“Goddess”) and ID models, and up to a modern 2007 C6 limousine and a 2009 C3 Pluriel convertible.
It took 2 years of careful preparation and curated selection of vehicles to make one of the big wishes of enthusiasts become a reality: “a Citroën museum”!
Congratulations to the businessman and philanthropist Peter W. Mullin and the team behind who realized “the most comprehensive look at the history of the famed French automaker ever attempted in North America.”

The Citroën exhibit opens to the public on Saturday 11-March-2017 until spring 2018."

BW, that's an excellent suggestion. I will definitely be in the area, so I cannot see why not! I also plan on visiting the Lane Motor Museum in Nashville. That should be fun as well.

I apologise for the slow response, but I've been very busy lately, as you might imagine, and I wanted to be in the proper state when writing a reply.

As I am writing this, my car is currently on the Atlantic, about 500 km from St John's in Canada.

The ship has been slightly delayed, I'm afraid, so it will first arrive on the 10th, but that's no matter, since I wouldn't have been able to pick it up before the 12th, as 10 and 11 June are the weekend.

I fully intend to write a proper blog about this, however, given the amount of communities I would be writing for, it will be on a separate site. As soon as the site is up and running, I will update you with its link.

And Stickyfinger, I still greatly appreciate your help. Besides, I won't be in California until about mid-July, so Mr Leno still has plenty of time to respond.
