What is the turquoise thing next to these heater inlet/outlet pipes on a Xantia ?

I was wondering that too but am far to preoccupied with this leaking matrix pipe to give it attention.
I'd guessed inline filter or spring thing for a cable.

Looks like the resistor for the cooling fans on an XM, but its as far from the motors as its possible to get in one of the hottest parts of the engine bay, so if thats what it is putting it there is the mother of all bad ideas.

Which Xantia? Is that part of the hydraulic clutch line?

oh yeah, its the disconnect point in the hydraulic clutch line.

Ahhhh......it was a 2ltr and is now a 3ltr car....

Not quite as they are impossible to disconnect :lol:

I've tried many times and even tried to make special tools to assist the separation but every attempt has ben an epic fail...

They are a connect-once connector!
