Sidelights - change to W5W LED replacements for the standard bulbs.

Main beam - there's no (legal) xenon conversion so the best that can be done is a pair of higher intensity halogen bulbs. I've been quite happy to use the +30% and +50% bulbs that come along on a special buy at Aldi and Lidl. There are other higher rated bulbs available from Philips and the like. I had some +130% Philips bulbs in the Xsara a few years ago but frankly they weren't worth the extra cost compare to the cheapo Aldi/Lidl offerings. Others think differently on that but all agree to change.

There's a short discussion on bulbs in this thread https://www.frenchcarforum.co.uk/forum/ ... =3&t=56209

Thank you1 Just bought some white Osram nightbreakers from ECP with the weekend30 discount code. Sadly Aldi and Lidl are not running the bulb offer :(

The trick with Aldi and Lidl is to buy them when they're available. As I look after about four cars I try to keep a small stock of, especially H7, headlamp bulbs in stock.

Let us know what you think of the Osrams please. Are they uprated? If so, by how much?

The other problem with H1 bulbs is that Lidl has not, for several years now, carried them (although they do consistently carry the H4 and H7 bulbs).

I'm not on facebook and it displayed OK, despite using NoScript that locks out a lot of things.

Facebook equally useless. An effing great box entreating me to join (no chance!) covering half the screen.
