stop light and flat accumulator sphere

Post by monsak »

I found some post in this board mention that if stop light disappear immediately after engine start it mean that main accumulator is totally flat. In my car , Xantia 95 non hydrative model , stop light disappear immediately after engine start.I replaced new main accumulator 3 month ago.the ticking sound interval more than 1 min. No abnormal symptoms in my car. Why stop light in my car go very quickly?
Thanks

Normally, the stop light DOES go out very quickly on a healthy hydraulic system - so there's no need to worry!

Mine's taking around ten seconds these days if started after 8 hours or so idle. This seems to have got longer.
Is this pointing to the accumulator being "middle-aged"?. It goes out fairly rapidly at all other times
It was an Amtex one changed around 18K/14 months ago.
