I'm 75% sure this is the Lucas one, but given that my other motor has a turbo, I think even Bosch ones might look different.
Could anyone confirm my suspicion?

well, it don't look like my Lucas pump (but I'm not used to the Turbo'd engines).
The Lucas pumps have a plate on the underside of 'em, like so, see green arrow towards the bottom of attached pic. Could be hard to see in situ, but you should be able to get a mirror or a small camera / phone / device pointing up under there.
I'm a pauper, but I'm very 'anti' running on Veg if that's your thinking, but I know there are others whom don't share my viewpoint.

That is a Lucas - an early and very basic DPC.. The location and type of emergency stop lever gives it away... This sort was used extensively on early NA PSA diesels...
The one you show in your picture Pug XUD is a later Lucas with some rudimentary electronic timing control on it... More often found on Turbo engines...

Sucks. Looks like I'll be swapping out Bosch pump from my old dead engine.

Why, what's the point if the Lucas is working in a satisfactory manner or do you wish to run veg?kenbw2 wrote:Sucks. Looks like I'll be swapping out Bosch pump from my old dead engine.

just an afterthought... if the '94 106 strays towards the 'scrapyard' classification, daughter's got one that's also about knackered (Head Gasket & Back Axle both on their way). Would need to be MOT'd still to be driven back with cost about scrap value.... [always worth asking]
Thanks Jim for the comment on the pump

CitroJim: Yea I run my 806 on veg. The pump in question is in a Dispatch, and I'd quite like to continue vegging in that
Pug_XUD_KeenAmateur: The '94 hit a deer a couple of years ago and caused a lot of damage to the front - lights, slam panel, bonnet all bent and smashed, radiator leak, and stopped the engine from running. We think it's the fuel pump and I've intended to look into realigning the pump but never got round to it. Probably a bit past it now as it's sat for ages. Are you offering sale of yours?
