Hi all,
I regularly check this forum for advice on my old faithful berlingo chugger. Have a problem at the moment though which is probably quite easy to diagnose but I cant find the solution through searching.
Recently had an issue where it wouldn't start, it was turning over but not starting or even spluttering, replaced the glow plugs and it's been perfect for a few days, starting first time etc.
Came to start it yesterday and when I turn the key the glow plug light comes on for the usual 5 or 6 seconds but there's no clicking sound and it won't start. Turns over fine but the engine won't come to life.
Any thoughts on what it will be? I don't have a multimeter so haven't been able to check for currents.

Does anyone knows how the glow relay works exactly. Going to bypass BB00 and BB01.
Is this ok to do?

Maybe this is helpful?

Re: 06 1.9 Berlingo - starting woes
It's working now bypassed the original wiring with my self made wiring (4mm2) direct from battery with 100A fuse to glow relay and to glow plugs.
here is one picture:
Wiring looks tight but, in real a lot of slack.
