Pollution fault ... Peugeot 207

Post by RobertSaunders07 »

Hi , I'm very new to driving and have had a "pollution fault " show on my car computer and engine light show in dash.
Been instructed to run a Peugeot planet diagnostics test as could be half a dozen things . Does Anyone local have one to hand as there was a guy on here in my area but don't seem to be around anymore.
Any help or advise is a massive help .
Thanks

Welcome to the forums Rob.
:welc:
There are quite a number of members willing to run diagnostics, usually for a small consideration.

You can see a location map and list here

I've sent 2 messages to locals but there not responding ... should i believe there no longer active or not . Also with the fault light showing on my dash board will this cause my mot to fail which I have in 2 weeks .
Thanks

The light in itself isn't a failure, but if the fault it is pointing to puts the emissions out of range, then it will fail. Who did you contact? The MOT garage can probably plug it in and run a generic scan which should at least give a pointer in the right direction.

Thanks Richard , massive help . I'll probably try find a garage with as much tech as I can to hopefully get it fixed first time with a scan .
Thanks again
