A nice easy one for today [?]
We have recently bought an AX 1.1i, our first petrol car with fuel injection. We have been informed you have to de-pressurise the fuel injection system when changing the filter.
If this is correct, how do you do it
Cheers

there will be some spray of petrol when you unclip the pipes so be careful.if you wanted you could remove the fuel pump fuse & start the car,it will cut out a few seconds later & this gets rid of any pressure in the fuel lines.like carl said no bleeding is required, just switch on ignition.
also remember the filters are directional so take note of which way the arrow faces & fit the new one the same way.
