window washer motor fault

Hi
could anyone please help as bot my front and rear window washer motors are not working.
I used them on Saturday and since this cold weather they have not worked (can't hear motors at all)

I have been searching to try and find out what fuse/relay it might be but im unable to get any information,
does anyone know what number fuse or what relay i could check??

any help would be appreciated

Ok, so your washer pump fuse is F14 and this is located in the Engine Compartment Fuse Box (not the passenger fuse box in the vehicle).
You have one washer pump that supplies both the front and rear washer jets and is Citroen part number 6434 75. If your fuse is ok, it is possible that the pump has given up - and if on the original, then that's nearly 14 years of service!

Xsara Fuse Box

The Engine Fusebox is located under the bonnet on the left hand side in the ECU compartment (generally near the battery). Once you have removed the cover from the ECU compartment, you will see the fuses clearly.

Thanks for the reply, after looking at that diagram and looking at mine, its different to whats on my car.
but i checked the F14 10a fuse and thats blown so im guessing that might be the cause.

where F18 is on your diagram mine has F13 & F14 on top of each other.

It's known that the Xsara fuseboxes can differ from the diagrams from previous experience - the important thing is you've located it. Hopefully that'll be your problem. Always keep the washer tank filled with a good quality fluid - that affords a greater level of freeze protection. If it does freeze up, especially in the tubes near the jests, don't operate the washers until they have thawed as this can cause the motor to overheat and the fuse to blow. I find the 5 litre Halfrauds premium stuff to be excellent and never yet had the jets freeze yet using this stuff - you pour it in neat. This stuff protects to -10°
