I've read recently that 306 trailing arms will fit on a 205, thereby slightly altering the wheel camber and possibly widening the track a fraction (not sure about that).
If I transferred the 306 arms would I have any trouble using the 306 disc brakes with my 205 lines/master cylinder/handbrake cable? The 205 is a GT version with drums on the rear.

Re: 306 bits on 205s
I believe the whole 306 subframe may be persuaded to fit with a little surgery...

Re: 306 bits on 205s
Not sure on the brake lines or handbrake cables, but if you're able to change the arms (or subframe as above) then I'd expect you've got the tools and the nouse to be able to make something work even if you had to get new flexi hoses and cables.
As far as the master cylinder, I'd hazard a guess that it wouldn't be suitable (although it may work to a degree, just not putting as much pressure on the rear calipers as you'd like) but possibly the 306 could donate that if it'll physically bolt in place. Otherwise it'd be a case of getting an M/C that will fit the 205 and has the same bore as the 306.

Re: 306 bits on 205s
I think it's quite a common mod fitting a complete 306 rear axle to a 205 to gain rear discs. A 309 goes straight on but then the 205 and 309 are essentially the same car underneath. Join the 205 owners club on Facebook. You will find friendliness and as much knowledge as there is possibly available concerning all things 205.
