DW10C dipstick tube diameter

Does anyone know the diameter of the dipstick tubing on the DW10C? It seems substantially narrower than the DW10B.

And just to be clear, I'm talking about the actual pipe from the sump that the dipstick sits in - not the dipstick itself.

The oil guide tubes don't have any measurements in the service documentation I can see.

Thanks for that - although as that auction is for the 1.6 engine (and knowing there's already a difference between the DW10B and C) I think it's probably quickest and easiest to try and get a measurement directly.

I'll post back incase it helps anyone else.

I am intrigued......if it is a replacement, why would you need to know as the part is Shirley available from the dealers ??

No replacement needed - I was looking for what diameter flexi-tubing will fit down there as a quick and easy way to take small oil samples.

I've got access to a pretty cool lab at work and when it gets quiet we occasionally have a look at things like that!
