Cold winter starts

Unread post by Mandrake »

As we seem to be enjoying a ridiculously mild winter (it was 12 degrees a few days ago here) lets spare a thought for our continental (and Canadian ?) comrades who sometimes have to start their cars (and diesel locomotives!) in temperatures as low as -40 degrees....

That's made Xmas for me [emoji6] Something that sounds 'rougher' than mine on startup. Think i'm down to 2 or less plugs now. Taking up to 6 preheats to start and doesnt the battery know and show it [emoji47]
