Heater blower not working but fan blade icons on display as normal

Hi

My car is a C3 Mk2 (2009-2016) and has climate control. The blower stopped a couple of months ago and has never worked since, although the fan blade icons (which indicate blower speed on the display) are working as normal. Is this a clue to the cause of the fault? (I have changed the fuse and reset the BSI).

How to access the blower on these cars would also be very useful if anyone knows.
