Service reset light still on

Unread post by Peugeot_Russ »

Why is my service reset spanner symbol still on just above the line of the box that shows the gear you're in... It didn't zero off with planet and the manual reset only reset the mileage but the spanner is still there

What car is this? What year?

Glad you got it sorted.

I suspect that the spanner symbol had nothing to do with the service reset though. I think it may have been showing for a different fault. That fault may have been fixed and so clearing the spanner symbol is the final step in the process. On the other hand if it hasn't been fixed then the symbol may return soon!

Well I did a full scan on it. No faults that would bring up the service spanner. The only fault I'm seeing is the climate cabin n humidity sensor fault... But the ac still works great... Still looking for a used one though.

About the spanner it' was actually the little symbol just above the line in the instrument cluster screen that shows the gears.
I needed to confirm the dealership mileage settings then clear in order for the spanner symbol to come off. So now its just the mileage driven shown.
