Re: c4 picasso
Being an Hdi I doubt that it is the glow plugs although I have had no experience with the 1.6 so I could be wrong.

Re: c4 picasso
You changed the glow plugs on a 1.6 HDi Picasso??? Respect!!!
As Peter says though, it's unlikely to be the glowplugs.
Ours is more reluctant to start than my 307 - I suspect the starter is a bit poor and cranking speed is low. It was also getting difficult to start earlier in the year, but it had to have injector seals and a new injector, which improved the starting no end - not sure if this was down to a loss of compression, or if the injector was duff anyway.
How does it start? Long crank, and then run, or struggle into life with clouds of smoke?

Re: c4 picasso
The temp sensor is the green plug on the thermostat housing if the sensor is shot it will thing the engine is cold all the time and over fuel afaik. Try unplugging maf sensor to see if the misfiring stops

Re: c4 picasso
There's no overfuel on a cold start on a diesel - a slight advance to the timing to help avoid the knock, but that's about it!
Could be a duff injector, or if it's done plenty of miles, worn cam chain (the two cams are linked by a short chain) putting the timing of the exhaust cam out.
