ZX driver's seat padding
Would it be possible to take out the drivers seat from my ZX TD and take off the covers? I ask as I was thinking about repadding it with some foam from one of those fabric shops that the wife draggs me to every time we need a cutain or something. The covers are in a sort of good nick but my fat arese has given the padding a right thrashing. [:)]

I'm not sure exactly how the ZX seats are constructed but I'd be surprised if it wasn't possible to buy a foam pad from Citroen and replace it. I know that both Ford and SAAB seats can be revived with spare parts because I have done it.
Failing that, LIDL are selling car seat pads this week for £3. I bought one last time round because my Escort's collapsing seat was giving me sciatica. The same pad is now doing service in my wife's Renault for the same reason.
If you do end up going the scrappy route use a passenger seat cushion if you possibly can.

my drivers seat has totally collapsed and its done 99k. I always knew it was bad then I started getting really bad back ache all the time. Ive not been driving for 8 weeks due to collar bone and now back is fine. When ive been in the car since with my dad driving and so been in the passenger seat, the difference is amazing, so firm and comfortable. cant swap them as the levers to get in the back wouldnt fit etc so I will try to find a good uncollapsed one in a breakers as i dont want the pain to come back
