Hi, My AX GT with GTi engine is bogging and holding up around 2000-2500rpm after that it goes very fast and steady . what could it be?
Fuel system checked pressure all ok.
Ignition coil and HT leads checked
Sparks checked
Vacuum hoses all checked
TPS - not checked yet
idle valve - disconnected

Not familiar in the slightest with the injection/ignition set up on that engine...
Does it use a distributor? If so... Timing set correctly? Vacuum advance hoses in good order?
If no distributor... Does it have a knock sensor?

It uses the Saxo VTR engine TU3 with Bosch computer works on MAP and IAT no distributor just HT coil and crank sensor.

My old 309gti usex to do similar when plugs were going, the 16v bx would splutter under 3k when under load when the coil was going,

HT coil? if it is thats another HT coil in 2 years.

Fuel pump seems to be the issue. Just checked the fuel pressure and it's not enough.
