Citroen ECU files

Unread post by osx »

Found the following link with original ECU files. Don't have a clue what they mean or how you can use them but could be a useful resource for the adventurous ones!

Nope, it'll be good Dave, although it has an ECU it's not a complicated one :D

OSX, thanks for posting this.. Interesting to see just what's there...

Hopefully someone will advise on how they may be used...

Nik - I would certainly not recommend going anywhere near these! Apart from the fact that you don't know the content of these files there is nothing you can do with them if they are genuine and nor should you.
Without additional flashing equipment, most ECU downloads are undertaken via the internet from PSA servers and are SPECIFIC to the type of vehicle, BSI and ECUs fitted to the vehicle including the options fitted to your car.

These are not for playing around with or for the adventurous unless you have a deathwish on your car or have no longer any use for it. I think you can see how a simple misconfiguration of some of the simple settings can affect your car first hand Nik.

I've removed the link as it could be potentially harmful.
