Hi All
I am totally confused with Berlingo Multispace specification lettering. The "Estate" not the solid side van.
Some sites are saying that the XTR is a 4 wheel drive, even if it is "part time", other adverts list it as front wheel drive.
Is 4X4 available on other specs, such as the VRT
Confused and going round in circles, can anyone help confirm or deny the existence of this option. The police here use the old "mark 4x4's".
Thanks in anticipation

AFAIK there are no 4x4 Berlingos. The XTR version has slightly higher ride height and possibly a sump guard to make it look a 'bit' off road.

The XTR has traction (or "grip") control.

The new XTR model is the top of the range specification and comes with the 'All Road Pack' - which is underbody engine protection and raised suspension (except the ETG6) - but no 4x4 models that I can find.

Thanks guys, for clearing that up.
Basically a "part time" 4x4 might be useful in the winter when we go to the mountains, in the past got away very well with "snow socks".
So what about the Renault Scenic, The old ones where quite sought after?
Or should I post on the Renault Page?

What about the C-Crosser ? That had switchable 4x4, though was more Mitsubishi than Citroen. Don't hear much about them on here though.
Sadly no longer a C5 owner

Something PSA seriously missed out on. The C-Crosser was obviously to plug that gap.
If you're looking for something affordable, and 4x4, and with a French Connection, there's always the Renault-Dacia Duster 1.5TD 4x4. Some friends here have one, and it's rather good - comfortable, quiet and powerful.

I had an 08 Blingo. They are nice motors, very roomy but watch that hdi engine. And the sliding doors rattle, never worked out how to tighten them up. Never seen a 4x4.
