Partner 1.6Hdi 115

Unread post by Peely »

Suffering from an annoying hesitation from standstill, does anyone think it could be the EGR valve?
Car has only done 15k but its becoming a proper pain and dangerous at times when entering roundabouts, junctions etc...
Does the blanking plate fix this or does it throw up a warning on the dash on this 2014 model?

Thanks for any help.....

It could be the EGR but it could be many things you need to get it diaged before you start swapping parts. Have you replaced the obvious stuff like fuel and air filters?

Before you start throwing money at the van, I would recommend you get a Lexia system onto it. It not only can read (and clear) error codes, it can also display live data when the engine is running. Normal generic readers cannot do this (and some cannot even read PSA codes). There are forum members who have Lexia systems and are willing to help. Here is the link;

Is it still under warranty? At that age I would take to the dealer.

I didn't think of that! Most posts here are for vehicles that are quite old.

strewth, that's incredibly low miles for a van of something upwards of 23months old: has it been used as an Ornament? :)

I, on the other hand, am a Field Service Engineer, and have clocked up over 42,000 miles in 15 months in my company van!
