21mm socket sump plug C4 1.6?
I was planning to do an oil change today and my sump plug is a hex with some sort of recess in the centre. Doing some googling am I right in thinking that it's 21mm? Got tons of sockets but typically none fit
What's the recess for btw?

If it's a square it's for a square socket.

Often they are 21mm as well as a square...
If it has a hexagon on it then there is a very good chance it'll be 21mm..
It is certainly the case on the older XU(D) and TU engines...

Isn't it a 10mm square hole in the middle?

Re: 21mm socket sump plug C4 1.6?
Cheers peeps - thought I'd check before heading off and buying one.
In the meantime I've dropped in some new plugs - the motor factors came up with the Bosch Suepr4's for £15. I checked with my local Citroen dealer before hand and it's what they'd use as well but quoted me £36! Bit of a fiddly job but no real issues. Sorted the hesitancy in the car as the hose from the resonator to the air box had become detached so all in all not a bad day so far.
