Not sure specifically Graeme but most cars have 'em in, under, or at the back of the glove box.

Just under the header at the top of this page (assuming that you are using a normal browsing device, not a phone), you will see a Google site search box.

Type in c5 pollen filter location and see what comes back.

If you are using a phone, the Google site search box can be found under Search in the forum menu to the right of your username at the top of the page..

Assuming the 05 is the same as the 04, passenger footwell up under the dash and to the right, pull the carpet down, it's behind there. I think there's a 10 mm screw involved but not sure.

That's where it was on my 2003 C5. That was with the dual zone automatic climate control but is it the same with the manual aircon? We don't know level of trim Taximan's car is.

Mine doesn't have the dual zone system Paul, that's where it is on mine so it looks as though they're the same.

For your specific vehicle, according to your VIN:
861b34dc-f4e0-4c77-8f1b-c10fb232d394.png
Remove trim (1) under passenger side (diagram is for Left Hand Drive)
944be84b-3e9e-4969-b60d-cef6f5eaa009.png
Unclip tab at (b)
Tilt, lift and remove cover (2)
Remove Filter (3)
Note: if tab (b) is damaged, position a screw for soft material fixing at (a)
Please note, I'm no longer active on the Forum, so won't respond to messages.

It shouldn't actually matter now as Marc (GiveMeABreak) has posted the instructions above.

That little flap and clip seems generic in lots of cars.

I think the heater/aircon unit is made by Valeo who make stuff for a lot of manufacturers so not surprising really.
