service box - Peugeot

Post by jgra1 »

hi all, I was about to register for this - but then saw you have to pay per hour !

does anyone have access for free? or am i missing something.... do you all pay?

I was after a chassis diagram(s) of a boxer LWB 2004 2.2 - as the one I have bought is rusty and I am trying to decide if it can be repaired or thrown away..

any pointers would be very welcome :)

You should still be able to register and look at the parts diags if you are, ahem, an independent trader....

I've got an account; if you post up the VIN and which bits you are looking at I will see what I can find.

Richard, many thanks

I really want an exploded diagram of the chassis, particularly the offside sill, and the nearside area behind passenger seat..

VIN is VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] (or NU) 7499956

02 106D, TUD5B, gone but not really missed apart from the MPG

There are lots of different options when you open up the bodywork page - and I'm not even sure if it's Boxer I, II or III.... it will be much easier with the VIN. Sounds like it needs to be cheap (free??!!) to make it worth while.

hi Richard, thanks for looking!

VIN
VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] 17499956

I agree about price ;) I should have been paid to remove it! but alas, most of us have been there, I paid to collect it..
Think its a boxer II - getting some advice over weekend on the task ahead of me, was just interested to know what (if anything) a dealer would stock as a sill repair panel for it.. and at some point the cost

J

bugger
just looked at the VIN I gave.. an l and 1 have been confused when taking the number down...dooh ;)

That one works, John. Here's one side, many bits still available; I can find prices if you want any- body parts tend not to cheap though! Angle grinder down the scrappy.....

thanks Richard!
looking at it, part 13 in the lower diagram looks like a rear outer sill, is there a pic of the inner part of this , but on the Offside?
I notice ebay has bits of sills for sale, about £30 or so, but haven't found this bit yet, for this van..
if a dealer wants 100 for it, then I may go down the patch route anyway... its a very thin sheet cover over some other structure, so not as worried about this part of van than other parts

I'll check again later John, but I couldn't see any bits further in than that - they may well be part of the shell.
