xantia electric windows (front)

heya all! so - got my self a xantia!

woohoo - 1998 S2 1.9TD auto

now - front electric window - I can slide it up and down on its own.

so , how do I reconnect it to whats needed?

If the motor can be heard working, probably the plastic clip broken - hopefully. Readily available from the bay. You will need to remove the door card (lots of info on here and in Haynes). I have found it best to re-use the original wire clip; better than the supplied plastic one! If the rubber is looking sorry for itself, they are not that expensive from the dealers... IIRC in the region of a couple of quid or so? HTH

taken the door card off - I can see 2 wires hanging - something plastic at the bottom of the door. - the switch moves the wire perfectly fine

It's the "plastic at the bottom of the door"!! The price of the plastic clip (from the same supplier) varies from about £3.50 to £9 - guess their clever software works that out depending on demand. Liverpool or Heathrow!
