Hello from me and my working C15 van and I really mean working van

A forum for new members to introduce themselves to the rabble already onboard. Not compulsory!
Tell us a little about yourself, lie if you have to but keep it to just an introduction, not a car discussion.

Hello from me and my working C15 van and I really mean working van

Unread post by JEREMYH »

Hello
I love the C15 van ! To the extent that my C15 is the last long distance working C15 van in the country to my knowledge
I run a small courier company in the middle of Devon .
I have been in this very tough industry all my life and use my experience to my advantage to stay in the game .
My choice of small van is the C15 . I have had a few of these and always managed to get them beyond 300K
The one we have here at the moment is a 53 plate with only 100k on the clock but I have not had it long we only got it in March . We have already done 30K in it. Best of all I can maintain these vans in my small workshop with no finance or electronic problems that newer vans give us
The C15 does upto 1800 K a week yes a week ! . This business is tough but the C15 will always be my secret weapon as long as I can get my hands on them .
I look faward to talking with you people as I like to read everybodies issues on here . I do like the old eighties Pugs renos and cits as you don't see many these day

I can attest to the robustness of the C15 - my parents had one they used for camping - it was a Romahome - you might have seen them dotted about the roads and were converted by Island Plastics on the Isle of Wight. They used the C15 as the were real workhorses and you can still see some of the early models in full use today from 1993 at least!

As you say, real workhorses and none of the modern issues to cause problems. :-D
